Terms of Service
Effective date: July 10, 2026 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Marissa Charters website (www.marissacharters.com), our online booking application, and our dive charter services. By booking a trip or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Bookings and Payment
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment (full payment or deposit, as offered at checkout).
Remaining balances must be paid before the trip departure date. We may send payment reminders by email and, if you have opted in, by text message.
Prices and trip schedules are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your booking through your account. Depending on the timing of your cancellation, you may receive a refund or account credit as described at the time of booking.
We may cancel or reschedule trips due to weather, sea conditions, mechanical issues, or safety concerns. If we cancel, you will receive account credit or a refund.
Safety Requirements
All divers must hold appropriate certification for the trips they book and must complete required waivers before departure.
The captain and crew have final authority on all safety matters, including the decision to deny participation to any person whose condition or conduct presents a safety risk. No refund obligation arises from safety-related removal during a trip.
SMS Text Messaging Terms
By opting in to SMS notifications when booking, you agree to receive text messages from Marissa Charters at the phone number you provide. Messages include booking confirmations, cancellation notices, payment reminders, and customer-service messages about your scheduled trips.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marissa Charters Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Scuba diving involves inherent risks; participation is subject to the signed liability waiver.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
